Earthquake injures dozens, leaves over 1,500 homeless in South Korea

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake which has been South Korea’s second-strongest in years ruined infrastructure, wounded dozens of people and left about 1,500 homeless, officials said Thursday.

No deaths have been reported because the quake rattled the southeastern coastal region around the port city of Pohang on Wednesday afternoon. read more

Maple Leafs save razzle-dazzle against Boston Bruins for overtime

It is the second game of those NHL back-to-back, home-and-road mini-series that is supposed to be the slog.
